Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kerrville by IHG

When out of town for the night you need a good , safe place to stay. Breakfast is a plus. Nice clean rooms and comfortable beds are desirable. We travel frequently to the Kerrville area and always stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Kerrville. We use the IHG rewards program extensively when we travel, so this hotel hits that note too. The basic breakfast really hits the spot and the rooms are very comfortable. We are a comfortable drive to all our favorite restaurants for dinner each night. And then there is - MUST. HAVE. COFFEE. Recently they have KICKED OFF a massive refurbishment. The rooms were first and finally they are redoing the common areas and lobby. It all really looks good. The carpet is good, not the cheap stuff, and the rooms are super clean. And then there is the giant pool which is in the shape of Texas. Spent many an afternoon there. Why stay here? 1. Location, whether you are just going down I-10, in Kerrville for business or pleasure, this hotel is in a great location. 2. The rooms, especially the King and Queen Suite rooms are very spacious. They have great balconies that overlook the pool and the incredible Texas sunsets. Nice in room furniture. 3. You can walk to the Bella Serra Italian Restaurant for dinner. Great place to take the family. 4. Free breakfast. It is a big deal if you have the kids in tow. By yourself? Saddle up to the coffee bar. And the staff is great.

The room was clean and comfortable. The folks were very friendly and kind. The breakfast was good, with a large variety of food to choose from. My only concern was the parking lot lighting. Several lights are out which gave me concern for safety and security in the darkness. I recommend the repair them all.

4 night stay. Remodeled room was good. Mattresses didn't seem too new, or already well used. Doesn't appear the tub or toilet was part of the remodel? If it was poor choice. Men you will need to hold your boys up. Overall room was clean, and house keeping did a good job. It was rather quiet despite being fully booked. Unfortunately one day they said there was no breakfast, they "ran out"... 7-9 am breakfast hours and they ran out at 7:30? Told everyone to go to Best Western for breakfast... I didn't stay at Best Western because the reviews said the food was awful amongst other things. Anyways, maybe Holiday in will do the right thing here and comp me the $60 for breakfast down the hill at Cracker Barrel.

Traveling cross country with elderly parents. Perfect location with Cracker Barrel in walking distance. Staff was friendly and room was recently renovated. We had the double bed queen sweet. Allowed for RV parking. Most rooms appear to have a balcony. My only critique was the extremely low toilet. Why? It seemed new. Very challenging for older individuals or tall people to get up. Other than that this was a great stop.

The best HIE I've stayed in. We got a suite, it was huge for a HIE. Our room had a private balcony. It appeared all rooms facing the pool had a balcony. The pool was really nice, it was too cool to swim though. The breakfast was typical for HIE. They kept the items replenished and fresh.

Rooms were nice and spacious. Breakfast had a variety of options.

I would give this place and the people who work here 100 stars if I could. My mom, my two sons and I stayed here while in town for a wedding that my mom was attending. On my mom’s drive home it was raining exceptionally hard, and she ended up getting into a car accident. It was almost midnight, and she was in a ditch crying on the phone with me until EMS got there to check her out 20 minutes later. The available staff and even some of the people staying at the hotel helped me by holding my infant while I talked to my mom on the phone, helping me calm my mom down on the phone and keep her talking, and just being there so I wasn’t alone. One member of the staff stayed hours past her shift in case I needed something, I didn’t get her name. Thankfully the injuries my mom sustained were minor and she was able to be brought back to the hotel by a state trooper. The car wasn’t as fortunate, she had to be towed to a wreck yard. We are just so thankful that my mom is alive! But the cherry on top was that we had run out of diapers for my oldest overnight because the plan was for her to pick them up on her way back (neither of us knew there would be storms) and we had no car to go get diapers, so I asked the front desk if there was any delivery service that might bring me some or if there was somewhere within walking distance that I could go to, and one of the workers, Michelle, (edit: my apologies, her name was Tish!) went and got us not one but TWO packs of diapers on her dollar and refused me when I asked to pay her back. Thank you so much to all of you who helped us!!!! Thank you for your generosity and kindness.

Very clean and great customer service. Good parking and parking spots.The complimentary breakfast was really good with options.The beds were comfortable and pillows fluffy..we had a great view of pool..we had a suite with lots of room,lights and tables..highly recommend this hotel..
